2008-10-06 Boat Repair - Hard starting new Honda BF8 motor.: it should start when cold with the choke full on with in 2 or 3 pulls....when it starts push the choke in..it should keep running then..as for the fuel line pump the bulb untill firm and it should not...

2008-10-04 Boat Repair - mercr. i/o: the gimbal bearing and u-joints are the problem.. Pull the stern drive off and inspect and or replace the u-joints and or gimbal bearing..With the drive off you can look right at the bearing in the transom...

2008-10-01 Boat Repair - Power Trim 1997 Evinrude 150 hp Ficht: yes you have to pull the moto, to get to the last bolt...with the manual release loosened you should be able to but you should be able to get to them with the motor off ...never tryed to raise on manualy...
